Daryl Maynard Christianson age 69 of rural Viroqua went to be with His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 24th, 2019. He was born on April 8th, 1950 in Viroqua to Telmer and Lucille (Eitland) Christianson. He was a graduate of Viroqua high school. He also graduated a two-year degree at WWTC in the “Criminal Justice” field. He graduated with a grade-point average of 4.0. He remained on the family's farm for most of his life. He bought acreage on the family's farm, where He built His own house and barn. He raised feeder pigs for a few years and lived in the house "He built" for the remainder of his life. For years He raised many acres of tobacco annually, working diligently maintaining and harvesting his crop. He was the grave digger and caretaker for decades at Bethel Lutheran Church, where His body will be laid to rest along with His Parents and some siblings. Daryl was a self-taught mechanic and when tobacco was no longer a viable source of income, He began doing mechanic work full time. Daryl was a very hard worker, a great brother, a friend to anyone. He loved his family..... Daryl will be missed by all His family and anyone who knew Him. We will All mourn our loss, but Daryl is now in His eternal home and He would want us to celebrate that. Daryl wasn't one to verbally acknowledge His faith in Christ to everyone He met, but for those who took the time to notice.... He lived His faith.
